PSG have rejected a transfer bid for Brazilian forward Neymar, as per reports in Spain. It had been revealed that Barcelona had sent an offer of a loan with an option to buy for £190 Million.
However, the Brazilian decided to make a switch to Bayern Munich amid reports that he did not want to be used as part of a swap deal. The transfer led to speculations that the deal for Neymar was off as Coutinho was one of the few players that could match the huge transfer for Ney mar.
Despite this PSG are said to have told Barcelona to include Dembele and Semedo with £100 million for the Brazilian superstar. Barcelona chiefs are reluctant to lose Dembele as they believe that he can develop into a world-class forward. With the Spanish transfer window closing this weekend, Barcelona have a short period remaining to complete this deal.
The defeat to Athletic Bilbao on the opening day of the season and subsequent injuries to Suarez and Dembele means that Griezmann is the only forward available for the next game. Argentine ace Leo Messi is recovering from an injury and could still be out for a while.
Neymar has been training apart from the first team as PSG does not want the forward to suffer any injury during this period. Real Madrid could also make a late move for the player as the club also has injury worries. Looking at the current condition it is highly unlikely that Neymar will leave PSG before the end of the transfer window.
