Brazilian superstar Neymar Jr. has sent a warning to onetime Barcelona teammate Lionel Messi ahead of the Copa America final. The two players would be on the side of the divide when Brazil and Argentina meet in the Copa America final later this weekend. Messi is the go-to man for the Argentine national team, while Neymar shares the same responsibility for the Brazilian national team.

Neymar said he’s eager to win his first Copa America tournament this summer, while Messi has been chasing a first national team title without any success till date. The former Santos player said he has been cheering for Messi to win a title with his national team since the 2014 FIFA World Cup final where Argentina lost to eventual winners Germany. Mario Gotze came off the bench to score the winning goal in extra time as Germany beat Messi and Argentina 1-0 to win their fourth World Cup title.
Brazilian talisman Neymar is certain that he would be in a dispute with Messi during the Copa America final since the two players would be on different teams.
Messi has been the best player at the ongoing Copa America tournament and he would be hoping to inspire Argentina to a first title in almost three decades at the expense of the Selecao who are the defending champions. Argentina are without a trophy since winning the 1993 edition of the Copa America tournament.
